Happy New Year!
To help you be really prepared for 2013 I’d like to share
a list of interesting events/trends to look forward to
in the upcoming year:

1. Expect China to land a rover on the moon and India to launch a space
probe to orbit Mars.

2. Prepare to see lots of the color that is the official pick of Pantone Color
Institute for 2013

3. Mobile fitness tracking devices will not only be a hit during the new
resolution time of 2013, but also might find new uses as the insurance
companies work closer with the public on encouraging healthy habits.

4. Brands will have to continue to tread a line between being the commodity
vs identity tool for their customers

5. Perhaps this will be the year to treat yourself to some cultural enrichment
at many global festivals just like those ones.

6. Shortened attention span; the need for instant gratification should fuel
more location based marketing initiatives.

7. “All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he
grows up.” Pablo Picasso. Pick up some creative vibes during Picasso and
Chicago exhibition at Art Institude of Chicago

8. Almost always entrepreneurs offer a personal engaging story; there is a
way for even a big organization to offer a similar intimate contact with the
customer via content marketing

9. We will have to find ways to deal with ‘big data.

10. The price of accessing knowledge is becoming close to zero. How will
schools/ companies change because of it?
