11. Something that is difficult to

HIDDEN LIMITATIONS
SCALABILITY AND PERFORMANCE LIMITATIONS
RAM
SPEED
HARDWARE BOX
USER
Data volumes up to 10-20
gigabytes of compressed data.
QlikView is designed for gigabytes-scale BI applications. Given
a typical 10x compression rate, QlikView performs well on data
volumes up to 10-20 gigabytes of compressed data. Since
QlikView has to bulk load all data to the system RAM, reloading
data is a considerable workload and can take a substantial
amount of time.
12. LIMITED DATA PREPARATION
While QlikView provides a scripting language for integrating and
loading data from multiple sources into memory, it does not provide
advanced ETL capabilities that are needed for more complicated data
integration use cases, like parsing of web log data for sequence
analysis and hierarchy tree navigation.
NO PIXEL-PERFECT REPORT WRITING
QlikView lacks some of the advanced capabilities required for
creating highly formatted reports. QlikView is designed for
interactive analysis and not for report writing. To create a formatted
report in QlikView requires the use of macros and the duplication and
maintenance of QlikView objects. Previously created QlikView
objects need to be cloned and placed into a “Report Section” in
QlikView.

16. Core Technology is the In-memory is important for
performance so this technology makes the QlikView
than other business intelligence tools, but it takes a lot
more to deliver a Business Discovery platform.
Basically all BI tool based on queries and cubes looks
faster in memory and could be fast response but the still
need takes care from IT department and user manually
depends on the maintainess but in QlikView User not
depended no IT.

17. The QlikView Difference:
It’s what QlikView does with in-memory technology that really makes a
difference.
1. Has an inference engine that maintains the associations in the data
automatically.
2. Calculates aggregations on the fly, as needed, for a super-fast user
experience.
3. Compresses data down to 10% of its original size to optimise the power
of the processors
4. Accomplishes both within a single, comprehensive product
The Result - Less Maintenance and Faster Deployment
Neither users nor developers have to maintain the associations in the data,
so organisations can move rapidly from prototyping to deployment to
refinement.

21. 1. QlikView can be exported to excel, iimage files, pdf
2. QlikView able to query and generate report from DB (i.e.
our databases which is MySQL) to Excel (Word, pdf and
PowerPoint
3. QlikView able to save query result to Excel (Word, pdf and
PowerPoint
4. QlikView able to query/report from different tables (IT
terminology, i.e. able to have inner/outer joins) to Excel
(Word, pdf and
5. QlikView able to drill-in/drill-out, dicing and slicing
6. Support real-time dashboards/reports. It’s depends on the
refresh rate u set
7.Dashboards/reports able to be displayed on internet/intranet
with real-time data or refresh at certain timing.
8. QlikView able to save the result of my queries for later use.
E.g. Query further from the save result and other data source
(tables, excel, word, pdf).

24. CONCLUSION
QlikView allows business companies to analyze which
activities lead to which sales results much faster and
more flexibly. Sales and marketing departments are
able to manage their activities in a more targeted
manner based on sales potential and market segments.
we suggest QlikView needs to repair some limitations
and let people use that in more and more technology
and spaces.
