Several initiatives in northern Ghana from 2008-2009 are summarized: 400 more women received agricultural training, seeds, goats and saw their average income rise from $20 to $350 per year. Eleven fish ponds were stocked and harvested, yielding over 1,500 pounds of fish per pond to feed 300 families. New schools and scholarships were provided for education. Over 30,000 received health training and thousands received medical care. Environmental protection efforts increased fish populations. Peace building brought together leaders to resolve disputes and reunite tribes. Church growth included training pastors and constructing new churches.
