The Lutheran Community Care Services (LCCS) has extensive experience in
working with Singapore primary and secondary schools to implement the restorative practice
framework in their social emotional learning curriculum. The framework has been impactful
in developing strong teacher-student relationship that facilitates effective teaching and
learning in the classroom.
LCCS is pleased to launch the Centre for Restorative Practice (CRP) in January
2011. CRP seeks to be an advocate for the use of restorative justice in the institutions,
schools and community. It plans to bring together restorative practitioners from different
sector, by becoming a resource centre and encouraging action research into the efficacy of
the practice. It also provides trainings, sharing, and facilitating Restorative Conferences.
LCCS wishes to announce that after three years of working with Real Justice
Australia, LCCS is now an official accredited licensee of International Institute for Restorative
Practices (IIRP) to provide RP trainings in Singapore. The accreditation will help to ensure
the quality and standard of the RP training and link the RP practice in Singapore with the
international community.
