The accomplishment of such results will be assured by applying adequate methodology and hiring highly qualified and motivated professionals, integrated with the Course’s philosophy. 3

Critical Success Factors • Teaching proposal focused on the establishment and achievement of individual goals using a structured approach, under a customized and systematic supervision, aiming to fulfill the expectations of both student and company. • Methodology and didactic material fully integrated in order to reinforce the class concepts and assure the expected positive results. • Highly qualified professional team with broad experience in teaching languages, supported by business processes, performance indicators and tools which help deliver the proposed results. • Advanced HR Management policy, aiming at teamwork and professional and personal achievement of our team members, based on the internationally accepted guidelines of the GPTW (Great Place to Work) Institute . 4

The Company The opportunity to establish the Tuttori Language Course occured in 2007, when the two partners determined that the existing in-company language courses were not able to meet the companies’ needs with satisfactory results. Most of the courses in the market do not offer a methodology or a business model which can assure customers that their needs would be met in an organized, controlled and consistent approach. After performing a detailed market survey and analysis of the existing competitors, a Business Plan was developed and improved until it became the model used currently by the Course. The adopted methodology, together with the participation and dedication of our teachers, along with an efficient management system, establish the basis for the fullfilment of our customer’s expectations. 6

The Partners Inês Correia • Graduated from the American School of Rio de Janeiro, is fluent in English and French. • Has a diploma in English-Portuguese-English translation/interpretation from the Office du Baccalauréat International in Switzerland. • Studied Languages at PUC-RJ. • Worked as translator and interpreter for Texaco Brasil and Petrobras (from 1989 to 1993). • Taught English classes for brazilians and Portuguese for foreigners, individually or in groups, at Nokia Brasil, Michelin, Petrobras, Cushman & Wakefield, Remopt, Periodical and CEMHS (from 2005 to 2008). Luis Correia • Graduated from the American School of Rio de Janeiro, is fluent in English. • Studied Business Administration at PUC-RJ. • Worked in the financial area for Chase Manhattan Bank (1989 to 1991) and in the quality area for Citibank (1991) and IBM Brasil (de 1992 to 1995). Was Project Manager and Director of Infra-structure and Procurement for BRQ Informática (1998 to 2007). 8
  9. 9. Our Team and Courses Our team of teachers is highly qualified and was selected according to the profile and culture practiced by the Course.   10. 10. Methodology Communicative Approach In this method the language is not considered as a set of phrases, but as a group of communicative events. The target is not to describe the shape of the language, but what can be done with it. This is currently the most used method in the teaching of languages, since it may be considered the easiest and most practical, the one which best reflects the social and professional day-to-day language and the one whose outcome for the student is faster and more efficient, thus becoming more motivating for those studying the language. 10

  12. 12. Project Set-up Activities Duration Participants Customer HR/ 1. Define project scope; detail the objectives and goals; 1 day define project terms & conditions. Tuttori Team Customer HR / 2. Perform the Grading Tests for all students participating 2 days in the project scope. Tuttori Team 3. Prepare the groups; define class hours and days; 1 day Tuttori Team designate teachers. 4. Detail goals for each group; start classes. 1 day Tuttori Team Project Set-up duration is estimated in 5 days, starting with the meetings in which the scope is defined and ending with the first class, where the students will receive their goals. There will be no extra cost charged for the Set-up activities. 12
