More than just an architectural venture, UNIK Resort was born of a dream, a vision
of offering guests the ultimate all inclusive gourmet resort experience. The buildings,
created to blend seamlessly with the secluded setting facing the azure waters of the
Caribbean, provide an escape for the sophisticated traveler. The simple elegance of

HISTORY – LEGEND AND LORE
The indigenous Maya of the Yucatan Peninsula were the first to experience the wonderful aura of Isla Mujeres. For them, the
island was sacred, and they devoted themselves to the worship of Ixchel, the goddess of the moon and of fertility. Today, UNIK‘s
guests can still visit the vestiges of her temple not far from the resort.
Their secluded temple would become known to the outside world in 1517, when the ship of Spanish conquistador Fernando
Hernandez de Cordoba was blown off course and he and his men stumbled upon these hallowed shores. Seeing only women
and structures filled with idols of female deities, he christened it ―Isla Mujeres‖, Spanish for ―Isle of Women‖. According to the
legend, no men were around as they were all ―out fishing‖…
LOCATION
Only eight miles (14 km) north of Cancun across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Isla Mujeres is home to the
exclusive UNIK Island Resort& SPA. Upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport guests are whisked away via limo or private
bus service to UNIK‘s Dockside Reception area, where they are greeted with refreshing beverages and light appetizers before
boarding the private yacht that will take them directly to the resort‘s pier. The exhilarating 25-minute boat ride offers breathtaking
views of the white sand beaches of Cancun and the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
Private and charter yachts arriving at the Cancun Port can stop at the Blue Bay Club pier or at the Isla Mujeres Marina and fill out
their paperwork at the Customs and Immigrations office located therein.
ACCOMMODATIONS
JACUZZI SUITE (55 units)
The resort boasts lavishly designed and magnificently furnished Jacuzzi Suites, each with a king size bed, terrace and outdoor
Jacuzzi. These 825-square-foot (77 m2) suites provide guests with a separate bedroom, a sumptuous master bath and a
spacious living room. The Master Bath is fitted with a double-sink marble topped vanity and shower. Amenities include a lighted
make-up/shaving mirror, UNIK‘s fine line of toiletries and plush robes and slippers.
TWO-BEDROOM SUITE (12 units)
Our luxurious ocean-view Two-Bedroom Suites include a sumptuous Jacuzzi terrace along with two bedrooms, one fitted with a
king-size bed, the second with two double beds each boasting a bathroom with, double-sink marble-topped vanity and separate
shower. The living room leads to the terrace, the Jacuzzi and a daybed. This beautifully furnished suite offers 1,152 square feet
(107 m2) of space stocked with the finest amenities, including UNIK's specialty toiletries, plush robes and slippers, lighted make-
up/shaving mirror and more.
MASTER SUITE (4 units)
The exquisite Master Suite features an extra large terrace with an outdoor living space, a Jacuzzi, eating area, chaise lounges
and a daybed for soaking up the sun in private. Inside, guests will find a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a separate
shower and double-sink marble topped vanity, as well as its own sitting room. A larger living room leads to a dining room and a
kitchenette, plus a half bath. The second bedroom boasts two double beds, its own whirlpool bathtub, shower and marble vanity.
This beautifully furnished suite offers 2,000 square feet (187 m2) of space stocked with the finest amenities, including UNIK's
specialty toiletries, plush robes and slippers, lighted make-up/shaving mirror and more.
PRESIDENTIAL SUITE two bedroom (1 unit)
The sumptuous two-bedroom Presidential Suite has an extraordinarily large terrace with a private plunge pool and jacuzzi,
lounge beds, a daybed under a pergola, plus a living area and outdoor eating space with a bar—excellent for entertaining. The
master bedroom boasts a king-size bed,its own living area and a bathroom with a double-sink marble topped vanity and shower..
The suite also features a studio, a dining area, and kitchenette and guest bathroom. The second bedroom has two double beds,
