There have been many reviews of this album posted here on amazon by
customers. Some do this album some justice, others don't. In my modest
opinion, this album's content is nothing short of legendary for one reason
only: it is Fairuz who is singing. This reason, in my opinion, should be more
than enough to buy this CD asap. It may be true that the album's musical
arrangements are not so great or the sound quality is less than optimal, but
one fact is undeniable: Fairuz rocks! She makes you overlook all these
minor details with that surreal voice of hers. It is a pity that a listener gets
hung up on such details when all the beauty in the world of music is
summed up by her voice in this album's performances. For the price of this
album, you are being accorded the privilege to listen to arguably the most
beautiful female voice in the history of mankind!!
