1. A to ZZZ Enterprise
One step closer to a better sleep schedule...
2. OUR MISSION
This generation, like no other before, has been exposed to mass amounts of
technology in their everyday lives. A to ZZZ Enterprise aims to explain and solve issues
associated with sleep deprivation and its relationship to technology. High School students
in St. Louis are regularly sleep deprived because of homework on their computers, their
cellphones, and TV, all of which can lead to long term health dangers. Our services offer a
way to balance schedules and monitor technology usage in a fun and interactive seminar.
3. THE PROBLEM
High school students
need to become aware of
how much technology
they are actually using,
how it is affecting their
sleep, and the dangers
associated with this
combination.

4. THE SOLUTION
Awareness and Proactivity Going
Forward...
Our seminars will be
informational and create a
proactive environment for the
students to start improving
their sleep schedule. Our app
will also create a sustainable
way for the students to
continuously track their
technology usage.
5. HOW IT WORKS
Session 1
Introduction (45 minutes)
The first session will simply
introduce the issue. We will
show a short documentary
that addresses sleep
deprivation and the dangers
associated with it, paying
special attention to the
overuse of technology
before bed.
St 3Session 2 Session 3 Session 4
Expert Speaker #1 (60
minutes)
This expert will talk about
general information about
sleep deprivation and discuss
technology’s role in modern
day society in relation to
school and leisure. After this
there will be an activity where
the students make a planner
for their next few weeks of
school, sports, and
extracurricular activities in an
effort to better manage their
requirements.
Nutritionist (60 minutes)
One of the major problems
associated with sleep deprivation
are the health dangers
associated with it. The nutritionist
will come in with the intention of
scaring the students by
addressing some of the long term
health scares that can come from
not getting enough sleep.
Introduce App (30 minutes)
On the last day of the seminar
sessions, we will present them
with an app that will help track
phone usage minutes, log
computer and TV hours, track
how many times they check their
phone per day, and have the
ability to turn off notification s and
apps (as if you are deleting them
from your phone). This will
function as a way to shut down
your technology just before your
45 minute “wind-down period.”

Everyone exposed to tech. enterprise solves issues with relationship between sleep and tech. students in a high academic environment are prone to more stress and homework which will lead them to late nights and longer amounts of time on the computers. Meaning they will want to stay up to date on their social network life, so they will spend time after homework or during trying to stay up to date. Leads to physical and mental health benefits if you have the right amount of sleep.
paige:
The first piece of data is shown in the top right when asking students on average how many hours per night they sleep. From the first chart you will see that the majority of the pie is from the range of 5-7 hours. Like in the documentary we said the recommended amount is nine. We conclude that with our research.

Our plan is four fold. It involves sessions each 45 minutes to an hour. The introduction session will simply offer an overview of the issue, involve our documentary about sleep deprivation, address the dangers and what qualifies someone as sleep deprived while paying special attention to the technology overuse aspect.
The first expert speaker session will be someone similar to who you saw in our documentary (mark meulbach) to talk about technology’s role in modern day society and how it fits into the every day lives of high school students. This session will also involve a planning portion where the students can write out what they have to do in the next few weeks and create a game plan. The third session will feature a nutritionist which will focus specifically on the health dangers associated with sleep deprivation. The goal for this session is introduce a greater sense of fear for the students. He or she will address some of the long term health scares that can come from not getting enough sleep. The fourth and final session will feature an outside high school student (for example, Casey, like you all saw in our documentary) who will talk about their personal experiences with sleep deprivation, it will make the issue more palpable for these students. This is also the session where we will talk about our technological innovation: our app.

Year 1 - funds and investments from National Sleep Foundation, also local investors (small businesses or parents). Schools such as Ladue, St. Joe, Westminster, Burroughs, Clayton. Purchase a technician from the funds we have raised to create an app and a website. During this year we will finalize our relationships with the experts we will be reaching out to. (mark Muhlbach and Danielle Beck).
Year 2 -
