RolandDyenssharesthejoyofhismusicaltalentwhileperforming,
composing,andteachingthroughouttheworld.Thistri-dimensionaloffering
providesthebasisforthephenomenalsuccessofthismusicianandhis
ongoingevolution.Neverfallingshortofafullevent,hisconcertsunfoldforhis
audienceasapersonalexperienceofemotionalawakening.Hehasasensitive
andcolorfulapproachtotheguitar–anunfailingopen-mindednesswhich
bringstogetherallformsofmusictoeachandeveryoneofhisprograms.His
stagepresence,hisimprovisedopenings,anduniquerelationshipwiththe
listeners,undeniablypositionhimattheforefrontofguitarperformance.
Formanydecades,hismusichasbeenanintegralpartoftheinstrument’s
repertoire,placinghimattheheartofaselectgroupofcontemporary
guitarist/composerswhoenjoysuchaprivilegedposition.RolandDyens’

JohnWilliams’nameisonethatmostmusiclovershaveknownfor
aslongastheyhaveknownanythingatallaboutclassicalguitar.
BorninAustralia,Mr.Williamshastraveledtheworldsincethe
early1960’s,concertizingsoloandwithsuchmusicalcollaborators
asJulianBream,ItzhakPerlman,andAndréPrevinamongmany
others,andwithhisensembles.
Hisrepertoireisevidenceofrichlyvariedmusicalinterests,ranging
fromRenaissancemusicthrough19thand20thcenturymusicof
manynations.HisCDsincludehisensemble’srecordingof
adaptationsofAfricanmusic,andasolorecordingofVenezuelan

doingso,creatingpassionatemusicthatmovesateasebetween
