- Terracycle’s purpose is to eliminate waste around the world.They do this by creating national recycling systems that recycle waste, that before was non-recyclable or hard to recycle.These national recycling systems are open to everyone, and anyone can sign up.They have over 20 million people collecting waste for them and sending it to them. They have 20 different companies in 20 different countries, which are canada, usa, mexico, puertorico, brazil and argentina. The other 14 companies are in europe. They have used all the waste they receive to create over 1,500 diifferent products. There goal is to eliminate the idea of waste by creating collection and solution systems for anything that today must be sent to a landfill.
