 In any organization training is the key 
element in how an organization can be 
successful from today into the future. 
 In order to reach full potential an 
organization must apply these simple 
rules….
 Training tools and resources must be 
available throughout the process in 
order for training to successful. 
› Company guidelines must be established 
› Manuals must be available 
› Goals need to be set and attainable
 Designate team trainers, or a trainer to 
ensure consistency, accountability are 
established and current. 
› Trainers need to be goal orientated and 
brand positive.
 Training program needs to be 
implemented by a solid foundation and 
yet adaptable to changes with the 
company. 
› Changes need to follow the right change of 
command, so trainers can update and make 
the needed changes correctly. 
› This is where a training program can be lost.
 Upper Management involvment 
› Management must have a way to track and 
follow on the results of all new hires and 
employees attending any form of training 
throughout the organization. 
› Designate the chain of command for the 
trainer
 Types of training need to be determine 
to ensure the best possible outcome is 
attainable: 
› Types can include: 
 Shoulder to shoulder 
 Book learning 
 Online 
 Hands on 
 Or a combination of any or all
 During training the trainer must 
monitor, evaluate progress of the 
individual or group to make changes 
needed. 
 Everyone learns differently 
 Everyone has a plateau in specific 
abilities 
› Adaption may need to occur 
› Changes in what each individual may need
 Tracking 
› Watching to see how the trainee is 
progressing and retaining information. This 
can be done as followed: 
 Observation 
 Tests 
 Production
 Follow up 
› Continuing to track 
› Looking for specific results 
 Positive results 
 Certain quantity or quality of production 
 Individuals understand there job title/job 
duties 
 Feedback is presented to the trainees
 Continued and/or updated training as 
needed!! 
 Having ongoing training is necessary in 
order for growth of the organization and 
employees 
› Changes in the company procedures/policies 
› Work environment changes 
› Productivity levels 
› Refresher
 With following the rules given any 
organization can build a strong 
foundation to apply to there 
organization to enhance there overall 
production and growth…
