The Boston Public Health Commission published a report revealing that the South End of Boston has high infection rates of sexually transmitted disease namely, syphilis, gonorrhea and HIV/AIDS. The highest incidences are among men having sex with men or MSMs. Male-to-male sex is the primary means of transmission in whites and Asians.
