3. Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings
people together to build homes, communities and hope.
We build in Douglas and Jefferson counties in Kansas.
Lawrence Habitat selects deserving family partners to
work with. Habitat builds homes with donated funds
and volunteer labor. Homeowners make a down
payment, monthly mortgage payments and pay taxes
and utilities. Habitat provides a hand up, not a hand out.
