Pivotcon Team will skype into the class as guest speakersPivotcon will do a comprehensive assessment of each students social media presence and kloutThe 5 students will be invited to attend up close and personal breakfast sessions hosted by the event sponsors and keynote speakersPivotcon has requested that the 5 students provide a comprehensive report on their learning at the conference and how it could be improvedPivotcon has requested that the 5 students work as the conferences Youth Council for 1 year to help develop the youth involvement in the event. This is an amazing opportunity for these students to add to their resumes and develop these long-term industry connections.

Find out what and how employers see you online, get ideas to beef up that presence so employers want to hirer you - not run in the other direction.In the SLC cafeteria, 3rd Year Social Media Marketing students will review, grade and make recommendations on your online profile for a $5 donation. Dates coming soon.
Does your social media presence need a check-up? Some of the participating students from the Pivot Conference will present a short 1 hour workshop on how to fix your social media presence. Immediately following businesses can book a 30 minute consultation to review, analyze and make recommendations on their specific business. Each team will have 2 students and be assisted by Lindsey Fair, social media guru and professor.The workshop and assessments will be offered on-site at Innovation Park, Kingston on October 27.
