6. Collection Development
• The collection has grown 23% to
20,200 titles (30,050 copies);
• Growth areas have centered around
Magazines & newspapers; Parent &
Adult collections, and the Foreign
Language collections;
• Secondary textbooks and PYP Home
readers are now all catalogued.

9. Electronic Databases
• Britannica Online & Global Reference Centre,
Brain Pop, Book Flix and Teen Health &
Wellness have been introduced this year;
• Questia High School database will be added
in August 2011;
• Other databases such as Green R, Turnitin
and Newsbank are under consideration
10. Future plans
• Introduction of online Library flexible
scheduling in August 2011 to cater for
larger patron base and make more
effective use of the bigger space;
• Great involvement of Head Librarian in
planning collaboratively across the whole
school
