- According to Wikipedia, cancer is a broad group of various diseases, all involving unregulated cell growth.In a normal condition, our cells die and regenerate regularly. From 1 cell becomes 2, then becomes 4, 8, 16, and so on. Once it reaches the right size, it will stop growing.But cancer is different. The cells keeps regenerating, exceeding the normal size.
- My journey of exploring cancer started when I was thinking. None of my grandparents passed away because of cancer, but my 2 uncles died because of lung cancer and my 2 aunties died because of breast cancer. My grandparents did not develop cancer, how come my uncles and aunts got cancer?I found the answer in this book: Anti-cancer which is written by Dr. David Servan-Schreiber who is a cancer survivor.
