1. Task Three: Cartoon and Flip Books
Cartoon:
A cartoon is a simple drawing showing the features of its subjects in an exaggerated
way which can appear in newspapers and magazines. Cartoons are normally related
with children but that’s not so true, cartoons and loved by all ages around the world.
Cartoons normally tell out a humorous situation, often accompanied by a caption.
Flipbook:
A flipbook for flick book is a book with a series of pictures that vary gradually from page to
page. So that when you run your finger through the paper rapidly, it creates the illusion that
that image is moving. The most common thing to do in a Flipbook is make a certain
character look as if it is running. This type of book is normally created for children but adults
can enjoy them too.
