• Materials that instructors have set aside specifically for that course
to be made available to all his/her students.
• They are kept at the circulation desk
• Usual check-out period is two hours
• May include books, dvds, cds, articles, textbooks, study guides,
notes, etc.

• Each is called by its specific
name rather than the company
name.

11. PLAGIARISM & CITATION STYLES

• Not tolerated- consequences may
include a zero for the assignment,
possible failure of class
• Usually one citation style used, MLA
