Which is the best Razer gaming mouse?
1. Which is the best Razer gaming mouse?
We want you to know that you can still get a good gaming mouse without breaking the bank.
The manufacturer’s new budget option, the Lua, is a no-frills device that’s a better fit for a
laptop than a full-sized desktop. Before you go any further, if you’ve got a larger monitor (21
inches or greater), you might want to look elsewhere. There are a number of options from
Roccat, SteelSeries and Razer has a couple you might want to explore. The reason for the
caution is that the Lua tops out at 2,000 dpi. On my 27 inch monitor, I have my mouse
cranked up to 3,500 dpi, and I’m not someone who can handle really high sensitivities. The
problem is that even maxed out, on a larger screen, the cursor is going to take far more to
even get it from one side of the screen to the other. On a laptop though, I found the device to
be pretty incredible for the $34.99 price tag.
An optical sensor boasting 1000dpi resolution ensures fast precision tracking and smooth
cursor control on screen. The mouse has an ergonomic design with a symmetrical contoured
body making it equally comfortable for left- or right-handed use. The high quality GO NANO
wireless mouse is both compact and lightweight, measuring 95mm x 58mm x 35mm (L x W x
H) and weighing just 82g. The stylish mouse has a built-in enclosure to store the receiver
when not required.
Once we downloaded Logitech's software, we were almost overwhelmed by the all the
choices. Automatic Game Detection enables the mouse to use game profiles stored on the
computer. Amazingly, the software already recognized 248 titles, including "Assassin's
Creed," "Mass Effect" and the "Rainbow Six" series. We chose the "Borderlands 2" profile
and tweaked button commands to fit our gameplay, placing weapons, health and eagle vision
commands among the top six buttons on the left of the mouse. Assigning macros was simple
-- just drag and drop the command over to the corresponding button. When we were done,
we saved and began gleefully blasting Bullymongs and Psychos. Gamers can also add
custom commands by entering single or multiple keystrokes, depending on the desired
action. The G600 can also be used for more mundane productivity tasks with a few button
changes. Logitech's software is configured to perform Windows commands such as Copy,
Paste, Show Desktop and Close Window. There are also seven multimedia commands
(Play/Pause, Stop, Previous Track, Next Track, Volume Up, Volume Down and Mute) that
can be mapped to the button.
2. The Which is the best Razer gaming mouse? is perfect, This smart designer Bluetooth
mobile speaker from Verbatim is an attractive solution for users who want to listen to mp3
music, podcasts or video downloads on the go without paying a premium for the ultimate hi-fi
experience that is usually reserved for home use. Despite being small size (75mm high x
80mm diameter) and lightweight (just 195g), the Verbatim Bluetooth Mobile Speaker is fitted
with two 40mm speaker drivers that give this handy device more than enough punch to
deliver a powerful, clear and balanced stereo sound across a large room or even outdoors.
Many mid-range speakers priced below £50 are typically mono and the sound quality is far
less dynamic as a result.
For any Windows 8 user who wants to embrace the intuitive touch controls built in to
Windows 8 but doesn't want to upgrade to a touch-screen system, the Logitech T650
Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad gives you all of the intuitive control of a touch screen in a
comfortable, unobtrusive peripheral. Windows users who have envied the Apple Magic
Trackpad now have a viable Windows alternative. Though it's not perfect, it has a broader
feature set than the Windows 8 mice we've reviewedlike the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Mouse
and the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouseand earns our Editors' Choice nod for Windows 8
computer mice.
