interested in completing their last two years of high school

IMANI MULTICULTURAL CLUB PRESENTS




   Young, Andrew Jackson, Jr.
   Young, Andrew Jackson, Jr., 1932–, African-American leader, clergyman, and
    public official, b. New Orleans. He was a leading civil-rights activist in the 1960s
    and, as a Democrat from Georgia, served (1973–77) in the U.S. House of
    Representatives. Under President Carter, Young was permanent representative to
    the UN (1977–79) and was noted for his outspokenness. He served as mayor of
    Atlanta (1982–90) and ran for, but failed to win, the Democratic nomination for
    governor of Georgia in 1990. In 1999 he was elected to a two-year term as head of
    the National Council of Churches.
During the month of February
  FCCLA will be collecting NEW flip-flops for
               wounded soldiers.
All donations can be dropped off in room B237.
 Our goal is 100 pairs. Help us reach our goal.

“Young Leaders Conference” comes to Northeast Lakeview
      Attend and you could win a college scholarship!!
   When: Saturday, February 25, 2012, 8:00am – 2:00pm
 Where: Northeast Lakeview College--Performing Arts Center
               1201 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX

    This FREE event for high school juniors and seniors and their
     parents will provide information about the college process:
  admissions, paying for college, careers, time management, and the
                          college experience.

    The conference will end with door prizes, including $10,000 in
    scholarships, the awarding of the high school spirit award (the
  school with the highest participation rate), and a performance by
            San Antonio’s own motivational group, HYPE.

     Registration and scholarship information are available at

                       is February 10, 2012

When: Saturday, February 25, 2012, 8:00am – 2:00pm Where: Northeast Lakeview College--Performing Arts Center 1201 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX This FREE event for high school juniors and seniors and their parents will provide information about the college process: admissions, paying for college, careers, time management, and the college experience. The conference will end with door prizes, including $10,000 in scholarships, the awarding of the high school spirit award (the school with the highest participation rate), and a performance by San Antonio’s own motivational group, HYPE.
