The Canadian Digital Media Network aims to make Canada a digital nation by 2027. It connects over 3,200 digital media companies employing 52,000 people. Major international companies like EA, Disney and Microsoft have operations in Canada. The network provides collaboration opportunities and aggregates information to help the industry grow. It plans to launch new digital media institutes partnering with industry and universities. The goal is for all Canadians to be connected and able to create and access digital content by 2017.
