2.4 Product and Quotient Rule:Goal: to use short-cut rules to find derivatives Product Rule: The derivative of the product of two differentiable functions is equal to the first function times the derivative of the second plus the second function times the derivative of the first.
Find the derivative of y = (4x + 3x2)(6 - 3x)
Find the derivative of y = (1/x + 1)(2x + 1)
Quotient Rule: The derivative of the quotient of two differentiable functions is equal to the denominator times derivative of the numerator minus the numerator times the derivative of the denominator, all divided by the square of the denominator. g(x)≠0
Find the derivative of y = 	x + 4 			5x-2
Find the equation of the tangent line to the graph y = 	x2 + 4  when x= 0 						2x+5 At x=0, y = 4/5
Find the equation of the tangent line to the graph y = 	x2 + 4  when x= 0 						2x+5 At x=0, y = 4/5
Find the derivative of y = 	(1+x)(2x-1) 			      x-1
