2. Personal Page My name is Lauryn Mychael Norton, yes my middle name is pronounced “Michael” I am from Sioux City, IA where I live with my mom, her fiancé Mike, and my little brother Austin. I am a sophomore Elementary Education major. This is the 3rd major I have declared (and finally found the right one ) The others were Nursing and Alcohol/Drug Studies. My father, Thomas Scott Norton, passed away from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when I was 5 years old. My mom has been a single mother since then up until this year when she met Mike (her old high school boyfriend) which she reconnected with on Facebook and they are getting married on Valentine’s Day!
3. Hobbies and Activities My hobbies and activities include many different things. I love to spend time with my friends and my family. I love photography and music. I became a fan of skiing after a trip to Mankato with my family earlier this year. I was a football cheerleader for the 2009 season at USD, and also was in cheer all 4 years of high school. I was on Dakota Valley High Schools dance team for 4 years and have taken dance classes for over 8 years.
