During our two functions for 1 Malaysia Merdeka Children Colouring Contest and 1
Malaysia 3R Fancy Dress Competition, Miri City Local Agenda 21, Miri City Council
also took the appotunity to launch their project at Level 3, Exhibition Hall, Boulevard
Shopping Mall. The said launching started around 12:30 pm after the colouring contest.
It’s a Miri City Council project with co-operation retail industry in Miri, such as
Boulevard Hypermarket, Servay Supermarket, Giant, Ng Sian Hap, Supersave, Emart,
Sin Lian, etc. to reduce the usage of plastic bag during Sunday.
The guests for the said project are YB Dato Lee Khim Shin, 2nd Vice President Pn
Hajjah Judy Wan Morshidi (Red Crescent) and councillors, representative from Miri
Local Agenda 21, Miri City Council, representative from retail industry, Lions
members, Leos members, local community etc.
