about my work
i would like to summarize my work as having a naive depth. naive in the context that an art form
kept devoid of all obvious influences of the daily life and todays world... naive does not mean
not having seen as in the literal meaning but having felt, experienced, suffered, enjoyed,
appreciated , criticized but yet the art form is somewhere an extract of all these. my work is
usually minimal and sometimes abstract. mostly black&white and monochrome and yet in itself
has depths of its own. my work consists of broad spectrum of lines intersecting into each other
as if weaving a beguiling net for the viewer to immerse in .i try to retain the bands of flat
channels even as they run into each other,as seperate entities . each line represents an
emotion , a journey and each of them have a space of their own... my art represents my
thoughts .my yearning has been that these art forms create a niche and exclusive mind space
for the viewer thus letting him/her strike a chord with the inner self... the strength in this art for
me is the ode to a life's pure existence...
