This document summarizes research activities from the Department of Biochemistry at MM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in emerging areas of biochemistry. Key areas of research include diabetic complications, metabolic syndrome, renal failure biomarkers, infertility panels, thyroid profiles, and applications of nanotechnology in medicine. Several studies have investigated the role of magnesium, glycated hemoglobin, and other biomarkers in diabetes and related conditions. Other projects evaluate thyroid function, prolactin levels, and their association with infertility and ovarian dysfunction.
