shape(keeps its shape).
Particles in a solid are packed tight together
and very neat there arrangement never
changes the particles vibrates back and forth.
3. Liquids have a definite volume and has no
definite shape(takes shape to its container).
Particles in a liquid are close together with little
room to slide freely past each other and
change positions easily.

Gases have no definite shape or volume(fills
any container).
Particles in a gas have lots of space they are
arranged with no pattern and fly around with
lots of energy.
