2. What is Poverty?
 Poverty: The state of being extremely poor;
state of being inferior in quantity or insufficient
in amount.
 People all over the world are dying because
they cannot afford the necessary resources
they need to survive.

 Lack of shelter
 Lack of food
 Lack of education
 Not being able to pay off debts
 Not having good health

4. What Is World Hunger?
 Malnutrition: a condition that develops
when the body doesn’t get the right
amount of nutrients it needs to stay
healthy.
 One of the many result of poverty.

 IS THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF DEATH.

millions further into hunger (2.7 billion people
live on less than $2 a day)
