Dean (Research) – Roles & Responsibilities / Benefits
1. To be the Functional Head of your concerned deanship and establishing the centres /
departments and report to Director / Secretary of NFED
2. To supervise all the concerned centres / department and its associated activities under your
respective deanship
3. To foster Appointment of Honorary / Ad-hoc Staff to strengthen and enhance activities of
centres / departments under your deanship
4. Conducting / Organizing / Sourcing / Instituting Seminars / Symposiums / Conferences
on behalf of NFED for its Brand Building
5. Conducting / Sourcing / Instituting Workshops / Training / Awareness Programmes for
NFED and referring resource persons for NFED’s sustenance
6. Fostering the contribution of research articles / papers for publication to strengthen &
emancipate the research & publication base of NFED & propagation of TIMER Journal
7. Initiate / Develop / Collaborate / Organize / Conduct events / programmes / workshops /
conferences / seminars / symposiums / talks / meetings under their respective deanships
pertaining towards management development / techno-management / entrepreneurship
avenues at NFED
8. To be a NFED Member and Mentoring students / individuals / beneficiaries of NFED to
take professional memberships
9. To communicate the Presidium with information on current events / photographs / news
promotions and / or information to publicize the same in its venerable website
(www.nfedindia.org)
10. To maintain official records / files pertaining to all the activities / events / programmes /
information in lieu with your services under the concerned Deanship at NFED
11. To expand the income generating sourcing activities and to continuously facilitate
NFED’s sustenance model and to avail (including operational costs / functional overhead
expenditures) & share 60:40 (sharing & remitting) such funds / grants / money for its
social development activities focusing on research / wellness programmes / events /
celebrations / training / projects respectively
12. Organize / Participate in atleast two meetings with key officials (Presidium Members) of
NFED in a given Academic Year (on or before current academic year (31st
May 2014)) for
obtaining approvals & report submissions etc. through an intimation of a date in advance

Executive Board Members – Roles & Responsibilities
1. To promote the NFED through their active contributions in the form of thought provoking
ideas, and suggestions in policy making process of NFED activities
2. Nominate / Recommend / Authorize the human resources for honorary appointments on
behalf of NFED (in consultation & approval from Director, NFED) under the Centres /
Departments to organize & operate them accordingly
3. To sign / execute professional / academic associations on behalf of NFED in consultation
and written approval / e-approval from Chairman & Director of NFED
4. To facilitate & publicize various NFED Awards in a given year by promoting nominations
/ recommending chief guests / guest of honour / dignitaries / sponsors / contributions
5. Propagating TIMER Journal and gaining contributors thereby enhancing publicity &
subscription
6. To initiate / collaborate academic and / or corporate tie-ups with organizations / varsities /
centres / institutions / colleges / governmental & non-governmental organizations /
institutions / agencies (including funding / donor / sponsor agencies) for NFED’s overall
propagation
7. To expand the income generating base and facilitate NFED’s sustenance model so as to
support its social development activities focusing on research / wellness programmes /
events / celebrations / training / projects
8. To be a NFED Member and Promoting NFED Memberships amongst Students,
Individuals, Institutions, Youths &Professionals, Corporates for its growth & sustenance
9. Organize / Participate in atleast two meetings with key officials (Presidium Members) of
NFED in a given Academic Year (on or before current academic year (31st
May 2014)) for
obtaining approvals & report submissions etc. through an intimation of a date in advance
10. Visits related to organizations in par with objectives of NFED and maintaining
professional linkages and / or associations
11. Update with current events / photographs / news promotions and / or information
indispensable for the growth of NFED & its venerable website (www.nfedindia.org)
12. To maintain official records / files pertaining to all the activities / events / programmes /
information in lieu with your services as Executive Board Member under NFED
