Hi! Good to have you here.
Instructions:
1. Please pick up one of each sheet and sit in any seat you
would like.
2. Fill out the student info sheet (YELLOW).
3. Answer the questions below on your GREEN bell work slip.
Please number your slip.
1. Name
2. Tell me if you go by another name.
3. Any considerations for the seating chart? (you can't see the
board, you get distracted by the window, etc.)
4. What was your favorite thing about geometry last
semester?
5. What is one thing you would like to change about
geometry this semester?
You will have the first 58 minutes of class to finish this.
Thank you!
You have cut a triangle out of orange paper. Now, I
would like you to label each angle with a letter.
Like this:
D
G Z
Next, rip each angle off of the triangle. Make sure the
corner you rip includes the letter. Kind of like where these
dotted lines are: D
G Z

Now put the 3 angles together with the outer corners of the
triangle facing in.
Like so:
D
G
Z
Use that piece of tape I gave you to tape them here:
Just stick those angles right here!
(Turn this paper over. There is a back)
Now make observations about those angles.
Do you notice anything? Write it down.
Don't you dare write down IDK!
STOP HERE. Please sit quietly until everyone is finished,
and then we will continue. Thank you!
