Symptom
When the VGA or CIF resolution was applied under fluorescent lamps with old-type
inexpensive ballasts, the visible light flicker occurred.
In the following example, we used a white color paper to reveal the light flicker. See the pale
yellow lines on the paper.

2. Cause
Fluorescent illumination with old-type electromagnetic ballasts can generate visible light
flickers at the line of frequency 50 to 60 Hz.
The flicker problem is known with electromagnetic ballasts. For details, you can refer to

Resolution
The flicker problem has been resolved completely in GV-IPCAM H.264 firmware version
1.02.
