The MICHAEL platform consists of software tools to create, store, manage and publish information about digital cultural heritage in Europe. It implements the MICHAEL data model and is based on open source technologies. The platform has production and publication modules. The production module is used to create and manage records while the publication module creates a website for users to access published records. The platform can be customized for different countries or regions.
