The Field of Dreams movie site is located in Northeastern Iowa in a little town known as Dyersville.

Although no real athletic event took place at the Field of Dreams, people visit this destination to believe that dreams do come true and the spirit of those who have gone to heaven do get the opportunity to live out their lives as they were alive and young.

A great view of the family farmhouse, the Lansing Family sold this house and the Field of Dreams movie site, along with its farm acreage for 5.4 million dollars in 2010. Visitors will still be welcomed under the new ownership.

The Field of Dreams is open to visitors from April through October. Admission is free, but the gift shop is quite profitable.
After the movie site of the Field of Dreams changes ownership in the fall of 2012, the construction of All Star Ballpark Heaven will be constructed. This megaplex of youth baseball facilities will be built alongside the original field of dreams. It will be made up of 24 baseball and softball diamonds designed for the development of youth baseball.
An indoor training dome such as this is planned to be constructed at the All Star Ballpark Heaven to allow youth baseball players train throughout the Midwest winter months of Iowa.
