The internet was invented in 1989
In the West, people aged 30 and under are the first
generation to grow up with the internet being “normal”, and
everywhere.
A lot of stuff, like medical records etc, isn’t yet digital

Blogger was launched in 1999 - bought by Google in
2003
Blogging was a new medium, services like this made it
possible for non-techies to “blog”
Concept of sharing your day to day life was new
Great way to communicate with customers, too -
now many important announcements are made on
the company blog.
