4. GOAL 2 DISCOVERING INFORMATION
SIL enhances and eases the discovery of information in our
collections for SI scholars, researchers, scientists, and the larger
world of learners
STRATEGY 2.1 SIL builds partnerships with other

journals to SIRIS for receiving
Provide all levels of cataloging support: searching,
cataloging multiple formats (books, serials, music,
microforms, electronic resources, etc.) along with rare
books, name and subject authority verification,
journal inventory and receiving, adding urls to bib
records, creating metadata records

8. Due to staff shortages, SIL relies on LSSI for
help with day to day activities and project
