In 1931,Mysore Maharaja was made the Bandipur
Natinal Park
In 1931,the total area was 90sqr kms. But now the
total area is 800sqr kms
The first name was VENUGOPALA WILDLIFE
PARK
The name BNP given by the Gopalswamy Betta,in
1973.

life plenty and forest is green.

station would help to reach the BNP.
By Road-Bandipur is located at a distance of 220kms
from Banglore and 80kms from Mysore.Bandipur is
