AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN TO ESTABLISH
A DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND FINANCE. (DR-391). continued from 2/18/09

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT CHAPTER 101 OF THE
ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN, ENTITLED “FIRE
PREVENTION,” TO CREATE A NEW PROVISION REGARDING FALSE FIRE ALARMS.
(DR-394).

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT CHAPTER 101 OF THE
ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN, ENTITLED “FIRE
PREVENTION”. (DR-395).

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WATERFRONT
WALKWAY LOCATED IN THE CITY, AND APPROPRIATING $11,621,723 THEREFORE
FROM THE CITY’S CAPITAL FUND. (DR-396).

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A.
40A:12A-7 FOR THE WESTERN EDGE REDEVELOPMENT AREA IN THE CITY OF
HOBOKEN. (DR-397).

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS PARKING UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
AND OTHER RELATED EXPENSES AND APPROPRIATING $2,200,000 THEREFORE,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE INSURANCE OF $2,200,000 IN BONDS OR NOTES TO
FINANCE THE SAME. (DR-399).

A proclamation from Mayor David Roberts, designating March 8th through March 14th,
2009 as Girl Scout Week through the City of Hoboken.

A communication from Mayor Roberts regarding the “zero tolerance” policy for the St.
Patrick’s Day Parade on March 7, 2009.

A communication from Mayor Roberts calling for a Special Meeting of the City Council on
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 6:00 pm for the “Introduction of the Amendment to the SFY
2009 Municipal Budget.

                                 CONSENT AGENDA

Consent Agenda defined: All items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine
business by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate
discussion on these items unless a council member or citizen so request, in which event the
item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal
sequence on the agenda.

                                    RESOLUTIONS

1.*       Authorizing the refund of tax overpayments ($38,140.86).

2.*       Authorizing the refund of tax overpayments ($3,148.01).

3.*       Authorizing the refund of tax appeals Hudson County Tax Board and State Tax
          Court ($4,962.71).

4.*       Support of the United States National Health Insurance Act “Expanded and
          Improved Medicare for All” (H.R. 696). Castellano/Russo

5.*       Appointing Matthew J. Giacobbe of Scarinci & Hollenbeck LLC as special legal
          counsel for Labor Negotiations.

6.*       Authorizing a change to an existing contract for the installation of a H.V.A.C.
          System at the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club.

7.*       Approval to submit a grant application and execute a grant agreement with the
          New Jersey Department of Transportation for the improvement/extension of a
          Railing System at the Path Area to Prohibit Pedestrians from crossing mid-block
          at Hudson Place.

8.*       Authorizing amended contract with FXFOWLE Architects, PC and Professional
          Planners for preparation of redevelopment plan for the Hoboken Terminal and
          Yard.

9.*       Authorizing the submission of a proposal for inclusion in the 2009-2010 Urban
          County Community Development Block Grant Program Application to HUD.

10.*      Authorizing emergency temporary appropriations for the SFY 2009 Budget.

       property known as Church Towers.
