Kennedy made the speech declaring that America would in ten years land on the moon most of the technology needed was not even invented yet. By declaring the goal and then reverse engineering the steps to get there you can paint the picture of your future.
Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Failure is part of the process. Accept that you will fail. I love finding out when the shift happens, what is that tipping point? What did it take for that tipping point to happen, then once it was breached, how did it spread. Malcomn Gladwell might have pissed off an entire community, he does have some points. The idea is not technology, the idea is the idea, technology enables it. The idea exists in the minds of men, it becomes a meme, moves through the collective unconsciousness, it must resonate with the population. Technology enables communication, enables our thoughts to be translated. I am, and you are one.
