SELECTION PROCESS Managed by the Queensland - Smithsonian Secretariat in the International Collaborations Unit in liaison with the Smithsonian Institution A Selection Panel will undertake the assessment of applications Eligible applications will be assessed on their relative merit against the selection criteria Shortlisted applicants may be interviewed, which generally include a 10-15 minute presentation by applicants on their project

- An applicant, not in full-time employment with an employer who agrees to pay the applicant's salary for the duration of the Fellowship, must demonstrate that he/she can support him/herself for the period of the Fellowship
- No weighting will be given to whether an applicant has prior international experience
- This Fellowship cannot be taken in conjunction with other support for the costs of travel to the Smithsonian Institution to undertake the Fellowship project (including living expenses during the period of the Fellowship)
