7. Conclusion
Family crises do not always have negative consequences, and are always referred to
traumatic circumstances, but is also associated with normal developmental events
family. The family in crisis is not always a dysfunctional family is changing situations
that involve changes in the family system, but if the family is able to assimilate these
restructurings may be a source of growth and family development.
The family event, by itself, does not generate crisis, always depends on the meaning that
gives the family and its impact will be related both to the adaptive capacity of the
family, as with other resources available to the itself. Prevention efforts should aim
primarily to enhance the adaptive capacity of the family.
