2. Fonts
These are are selection of my chosen fonts
which I may use for my final product. I have
decided to pick a range of similar and different
fonts. These fonts are all sans serif fonts. I
have decided to chose fonts which are suitable
for my audience and which will attract the
audience to my product by catching their
attention. I have decided that I will use the
bolder fonts such as ‘janda manatee’ ‘children
stories’ and ‘bold bold’ for my title and the
name of the charity. I also think that my
chosen fonts are suitable for my target
audience as they are very suited towards the
age of my audience. For example ‘children
stories and ‘janda manatee’ are very round
and include different shapes and sizes which
represents that they are aimed at a much
young audience such as 16-24 year olds.
3. Colours
These colours are the colours in which I will
include on all of my chosen products. I have
decided to go with something very different
to other homeless products. As most
homeless charities use the colours such as
black, purple, blue and dark colours I
decided that I wanted to do something
different. I decided to choose colours that
were happy. I have picked colours such as
red, yellow and orange as I think that these
colours all represent happiness. None of the
colours give a negative impression and they
all work together. I think that when people
look at my products they will get a positive
attitude towards them instead of a negative
one which will create a warm feeling
towards the audience which may lead them
to take more of an interest.
4. Images
These are a few examples of what I
would like my final pictures on my
products to feature. I have decided
to pick the same subject
throughout all my images. The
subject is happiness I have decided
to use images which show a story
behind them. My reason for using
these images is I would like the
audience to feel positive by giving
them an encouraging impression
towards the charity. I think when
homeless youths see these images
they will be persuaded to visit the
charity. I also think using these
images is a method to show
volunteers that the charity is
positive. Homeless charities tend to
have a negative impression towards
them however seeing these images
could change the volunteers mind.

‘We are a charity run by 10 volunteers helping to
change peoples life's and prevent youths from
becoming homeless’
‘We help up to 300 people a year and the number is
still increasing’
‘We can find a place for youths to stay in a friendly
welcoming home for up to 2 years’
‘It is very safe and can be very rewarding’
On my product I would like to include
information about the charity. I have
shown examples of some of the
different types of text which I would
like to include. I have decided I would
like to include contact details of the
charity. I would also use persuasive
text boxes which include facts of
homelessness and information about
the charity. I have also include small
sentence slogan's which will get a
point across. I would like to include
more information such as what the
charity does and what impact it has
had.
6. Layout
On my products I would like to include plenty of information and images to bring
attention from my audience however I would also like the products to have a
consistence layout and to be shown that they are all part of a set. I will make sure
that I include a large title and suitable spaces for text and imagery. I will also make
sure that my products include equal amounts of design so that the products don’t
look too overcrowded.
7. Products
I have thought of a range of different products which I can create to promote the
homeless charity some examples which I have thought of are
posters, leaflets, billboard posters, stickers, banners, business cards, bus
adverts, rubbers and pens. I have decided to create a range of similar products. I
would like to create 3 posters and a leaflet. I think creating posters and leaflets will
allow me to show a range of different designs for the homeless charity.
