11 a.m. – 12 noon. Plymouth Laryngectomy Club (PLC) meeting.
All welcome!
12 noon – 1 p.m. Buffet Lunch. An opportunity to for you, your
family and staff to meet up and chat informally and
to learn about the products which may be available
to you.
Afternoon Sessions; These are designed to fulfil the information needs
highlighted by patients and relatives.
1.15 p.m. - 2 p.m. Managing Your Chest / Breathing after
Laryngectomy Surgery:

Group A) Carers and
Group B) Laryngectomees.
Group A) The Carers' Perspective:
What is it like being the relative / carer of
someone who has had the surgery?

Group B) The Patient’s Perspective:
What is it really like to experience having
the surgery and living with the after-
effects?
Run by Julia Pockett
