Hybrid Plants – What are they?
A hybrid plant is established when seed breeders purposely cross pollinate two different types
of species, planning to create an offspring containing the best characteristics of the two parents.
What is a hybrid is a common question. Hybrids can be anything from animals to plants. A good
example of this is the Hawaiian Hybrid Bud.
Generally speaking, hybrids provide some mix of these good traits: dependability, lower
treatment, early maturation, better produce, enhanced flavor, particular plant size, or infection
resistance. Hybrid vegetables generally look like the plants or vegetables you would find at a
store.
Hybrid plants are an amazing creation whether it is from natural selection or not. One of the best
hybrids is the Hawaii hybrid buds.
