  1. Research is inconclusive. What we do know is our children have always lived in a digital, online world and therefore approach learning, research, entertainment and work in a different way.
  2. Images and videos, digital storytelling, presentations, creating digital products
  3. Homework, staying in touch with family, cultural understanding, blended learning
  4. Teachers are taught to:
  5. 1) Research the Technology and become connected themselves
  6. 2) Monitor and Be Engaged with the technology and the learning
  7. 3) Avoid the Fear Factor: Make a difference.  Fear-based education is shown to be ineffective in changing student behaviors - this focuses on the methods that work with students and promoting teacher behaviors that must underlie such an environment.
