- When you go to the website http://ps.chicagointl.org , this is the first page you will see. This where you type your username and password that was given in the parent portal letter.
- This screen gives a lot of information. It’s basically a summary of grades and attendance. You don’t have to click on anything to get to this page initially. If you navigate to another screen and want to get back to this screen, you click on Grades and Attendance icon. Screen breakdown Attendance By Class On the left side see two weeks worth of attendance. To the right of that you see the classes and teacher name. If you want to email the teacher, you would click on his or her name. Next to that you will see the overall course grade. On the next slide you will see what happens when you click on the grade. At the far right, you will see the overall attendance for the marking period. Attendance By Day This part shows the total attendance by quarter and school year to date.
- This screen gives a breakdown of what assignments/assessment went into the over grade as well as the teacher comments.
- On your child report card, there are strand grades as well as social and work habits. Grades only show here at the end of the marking period.
- By clicking on the grade, you can see the grade scale.
- This page shows you the attendance for the marking period. At this school, the attendance is shown in the last period of the day.
- This page gives you the option to request progress on your child. You can determine which frequency you want the information. At this time, only the first three choices are active. You have the option to list multiple email address, however you must separate them using a comma, no space is necessary.
- This is the result of selecting “Summary of current grades and attendance” from the list of varies reports. Each output offers different information, however this output gives the summary and you can determine how often you want to receive it.
