PPE for Marine Transfer Refer to TORO User Manual for full details Style/Type Picture Evaluation Recommendation Inherently buoyant work vest buoyancy aid (100 N) Flat buoyancy panels are unobtrusive and allow passengers easy entry and exit from seat harness Acceptable RML recommend that any PFD of this type is tested with seat harness in TORO for compatibility Manual inflatable lifejacket (150 N) Personnel should not inflate the PFD whilst strapped in the TORO Acceptable (exception basis) RML recommend that this style is used carefully to prevent accidental inflation

10. Seatbelt Operation – Full Harness Seat harnesses will have been prepared by the deck crew Take the lap fastener clip and feed through the eye Fold over clip Insert each arm into shoulder harness 1 3 4 2
11. Seatbelt Operation – Full Harness (continued) PULL LOWER STRAPS FIRST to tighten around waist PULL UPPER STRAPS SECOND to tighten fit around shoulders and chest 5 6
12. Seatbelt Operation – Lap Strap Lap Straps will have been prepared by the deck crew Take the lap fastener clip and feed through the eye Fold over clip Pull lower straps to tighten around waist 1 2 3 4
13. The TORO is now loaded “ Thumbs up” to indicate ready for transfer
14. Ready for Transfer Deck crew will have a final check of your seat belt You are now strapped in and ‘Ready for transfer’
