Carbon appears in nature in two really different forms: graphite
(what you can find in your pencil) and diamond. Carbon is the main
element in all the compounds that living things are made of. It is also
used as a combustible. Recently, a new form of carbon has been
discovered: graphene whose properties seems to be very useful for
technologic equipment.
