2. 8- Festivals In Portugal people celebrate the day in which the three Kings found little Jesus in a cave in Bethlehem. It is celebrated on the 6th January. In the villages, people go from house to house and sing traditional carols about Jesus life and they are invited to enter the house and eat something. People eat a special cake with fruits called bolo- rei.

3. 8- Festivals Carnival is the time of great joy and playing tricks. People wear fancy dresses and make long parades. In the towns there are fancy dress parties but in the villages people go to the street to play.
