1. Pneumatic.
The air is the technology that uses compressed air as the mode of transmission of
energy to move and operate mechanisms.
By a fluid, either air (pneumatic), oil or water (hydraulic) can be achieved in a
motor move or swivel movement to actuate a cylinder having an outlet or backward
movement of a rod (bar). It now has many applications such as opening or closing
doors on trains or buses, heavy lifting, drives to move certain elements, etc.. The
engine control or cylinder to perform what we want is done by valves that act as
switches, pushbuttons, switches, etc. when compared with electricity and by
conducting tubes (equivalent to the electrical conductors) through which circulates
the fluid. In this unit we will study how assemblies are held pneumatic or hydraulic
circuits. All we are going to study refers to pneumatic circuits, but changing air
water or oil for hydraulic it would equally.
Pneumatic and hydraulic practically only difference in the fluid is air and in one
another in the water. Before you start you can see here all symbols go Pneumatic
or learning them as you advance.
