2. CROWD-FUNDED SOLAR POWER FOR OFF-GRID COMMUNITIES
1.5 Billion people in the world live without electricity
Their main light source is kerosene lamps, which are
polluting, poisonous and not cost-effective
Small household solar PV systems can satisfy the
energy needs of developing world communities.
But many households in Africa, Asia, and Latin
America can’t afford such an investment.
3. CROWD-FUNDED SOLAR POWER FOR OFF-GRID COMMUNITIES
Solar startups are bridging this gap by leasing PV units on a pay-as-
you-go basis. But these companies need financing to grow.
We are creating a crowd-funding portal for micro-investors, who will
receive a share of the revenue, to finance millions of units
worldwide.
We will accelerate the electrification of the developing world, and
take advantage of the 40 Billion Dollar market opportunity
